  7. pamela says:

I have always connected my facebook posts to twitter (and the reverse) since it was an option. Randomly, my facebook STOPPED posting to twitter a couple of days ago. I have gone in and ‘unlinked’, re booted my computer, re LINKED… a couple of times (yesterday AND today). All the settings are correct. My facebook posts STILL are not posting to twitter. However my TWEETS ARE posting to facebook. Is there a technical problem that will be corrected? I have a super techie friend who is having the same issues. Help?

  8. Martin says:

I have used this on 6 FB pages to 6 Twitter accounts and it has worked great. But it stopped working 3 day ago. I wrote a bug report to Facebook, but havent heard or seen any fix to it yet.
Is anybody else having the problems that no status updates are getting through to Twitter?

I have tried to relink my profiles. No success…

  9. Kyle says:

    • Mary Ann says:

I too followed the instructions and instead of Facebook posts going to Twitter, Twitter tweets went to Facebook which is what I had before. Grrrrrr!

      • Bigfin.com says:

Hi MaryAnn, Thanks for your post. Double check that the app that is posting from Twitter to Facebook is disabled or deleted in both Twitter and Facebook. Sounds like it might still be posting from Twitter.

  10. Bigfin.com says:

Update: the recent problems with the app appear to have been resolved.

Hi there – this is great, and I have a couple of accounts connected and it works well.
Any chance you could write the same functionality for Diaspora? That would be gnarly :)

hi, i’m managing a page which i also got it connected to twitter, but eventually it seems that it also connected my personal facebook account to my page’s twitter account. i then make my personal facebook to be separated from the facebook page account, but still the facebook 2 twitter was intact to the facebook page’s twitter account. i tried to unlink dozens of times but everytime i go through the steps, in the end the twitter connected was still the facebook page’s twitter account. Any solution to this please?

  14. Shane Hood says:

Is there any way to unlink the Twitter account and link a different Twitter account? When I unlink the old Twitter account in Facebook and then try to link to the new Twitter account it only gives me the option to link to my old Twitter account.

    thank you in advance

    Shane

    • Bigfin.com says:

      Hi Shane,
Try deleting permission for the app in Facebook. Then log into the new Twitter account that you want to connect and try again.

    • Gustavo says:

After you unlink, open other tab and go to twitter.com and do a logoff, else it will link to the active twitter account. Then you can login in your new twitter account, or just click on Link on facebook/twitter page :)

Thanks so much for this. I use to use another website to do this bit it wasn’t working anymore. I like to use my facebook page to schedule my posts and additionally they feed part of the blog on my website (http://www.jzaring.com) and now this makes it easier because twitter is also getting it. Yeahhhhh!
